Solar Farms Alfalfa Sprout Voluntary Recall

In connection with a voluntary recall by Solar Farms Inc., Bloom is advising guests to check their refrigerators for any alfalfa sprouts produced by Solar Farms Inc., one of our suppliers.  Food Lion LLC was notified today that Solar Farms is recalling the 4 oz containers of alfalfa sprouts with a sell by date of July 22, 2009 because of a potential contamination of Listeria.  In an abundance of caution, Bloom is removing all Solar Farm Alfalfa Sprouts from the store shelves and is also recalling all lot numbers of Solar Farms Alfalfa Sprouts in the 4 oz. containers that consumers may have purchased at Food Lion, Bloom and Reid’s.
 
All guests are encouraged to return this product produced by Solar Farm to their nearest store for a full refund.
